Welcome to Five Oaks Farm! We take a holistic approach to raising Wagyu beef cattle and the difference shows in the marbling, tenderness, and flavor of our beef. Embryos
We care about providing a high-end Wagyu breeding stock. Our embryos will accelerate your Wagyu herd by producing high end animals with well balanced carcass traits.
Bulls
Wagyu bulls are great for first calf heifers due to their low birth weight traits. Our bulls will increase quality marbling while sustaining carcass growth to your program.
Females
Our females are phenotypically sound and genomically balanced to help you start a Wagyu herd or create longevity in your exisiting herd.
ABOUT US
Owners Tony & Jeri Orstad were both born and raised on Iowa farms. From an early age Tony had the dream of becoming a rancher and build a farm where he could raise cattle and share that experience with his family.

Tony started working for JDH in 2003 and while there, the business began to feed and raise Wagyu cattle. The breed always intrigued Tony which led him and his wife Jeri to start their own farm in 2007. They purchased their first registered Wagyu in 2016 and Five Oaks Farm was born.

They began raising American Wagyu calves and loved the taste and tenderness of that meat. These experiences coupled with a desire to produce the best Wagyu meat available led to learning more about genomics with the Wagyu breed and offering Fullblood Wagyu.

Five Oaks Farm's goal is to continue raising high marbling calves while also offering genetics capable of creating the highest marbling Wagyu beef with elite seed stock.
